35 Weeks

Baby Reese will be here in 5 short weeks!  According to my baby app, she should weigh as much as a honeydew melon... So about 5 lbs.  I had a routine check up on Thursday to check my blood pressure, weight, and to hear her heartbeat.  Everything was good and I will see my Alabama doctor for the last time this Thursday.

Lots, and lots is happening.  Our entire house is packed up and waiting on the moving truck to be here tomorrow morning.  Wednesday is Family Day and the Military Ball.  Thursday, Pat officially graduates,  I have my last doctors appointment and we start out move home.  Our goal is to leave Fort Rucker by 3 pm and to stop in Tupelo, Mississippi for the night.  We will rise and shine early Friday morning and finish the rest of our drive.  Once home, the unpacking begins.

Pat likes the American flag, but the black shirt is making it hard to see the bump.  Believe me, it's plenty there.

34 Weeks

During my 34 weeks we have been very busy. I finished my last week of work and Pat wrapped up all of his flight training.  Now Pat is in the process of out-processing and waiting on graduation!! Yay!!  While we wait though we have to pack/clean and get ready for our big move back to Arkansas. Graduation is July 24th, which also means that is the day we make our trek home. Lots to do!

Below is a local restaurant on base that is yummy and convenient.  I will be so glad to be home but I will also miss this place.  It's been a fun adventure.

While we have been packing and cleaning, I have also been crafting.  I can not wait to be home to get my hands on Reese's nursery.  I am so ready to play and decorate.  With the help of Pat, we made this sweet mobile.  I just love how it turned out. The picture doesn't do it justice, it's better when it's turning and twinkling in the sunlight. :)

I found this print at Hobby Lobby and had to have it.  For the most part, I think I have a pretty good idea of how I want Reese's room to look.  I am going to use mints, pinks, golds, and some black and white.

And of course, Wren had to be in on the action.  Nosey Rosie.

32 & 33 Weeks: 4th of July: Last Beach Trip

I was in Arkansas at 32 weeks and didn't get a good bump pic.  The next week was the 4th which meant Baby Reese would be 33 weeks and we were taking out last beach trip.

So this can count as my 32 weeks picture. :)

Once I flew back into Alabama, I had a doctors appointment the next day (July 1st).  We had an ultrasound to check Reese's position and weight.   She was breech, which means head up.  We need her head down when its time for delivery but she still has plenty of time to flip.  She was weighing about 3lbs 14oz.

This is the two pictures we got from her ultrasound.  The top one is her hand in 4D and the second one is her profile.  I can't wait to see those little lips and nose in person. The ultrasound tech tried to get a 4D picture of her face, but Reese flipped as soon as she tried.  So all we could get was her back and then her hand on her head.

That weekend we went to Orange Beach to see one of my good friends.  We spent the 4th with her and then met some of our Fort Rucker buddies in Destin for our last beach trip while we are here.

The life I tell ya...

Goodbye beach for now...

And I finally have a chalkboard post with the bump.  Samll T-shirts are getting a little tight.

The wedding was June 28th at the Hidden Chapel in Alexander.  Everything was just gorgeous and my sister was beautiful.

Are these flowers just not gorgeous!

All the succulents were just the perfect touch and so unique.

My sweet nephew stealing peaches and putting them back after a yummy bite. :)

Here comes the bride!

This was the cutest idea! My sister bought an old Polaroid for the reception.  Once we took a picture we hung it on the frame.  Loved it!

Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Vellance!!
