One, technically our baby isn't here yet, but she is growing like crazy in my tummy. So I feel like it is my first official mothers day and that's something kinda special.
Two, most of you know my mom is not in my life due to choices she made. It hasn't always been easy not having her around and there are days I miss her and wish she was here. I went through junior high, high school, college, my wedding, and marriage without her and now I am having a baby. For some reason being pregnant makes me wish she was here more than ever. But, even though she isn't here, I have been blessed beyond measure with an amazing dad who was my mom and dad through it all. He is my rock. I think I was looked after too when I married into a family that gave me two amazing mother-in-laws. Even through high school and college there were women along the way that were motherly figures to me. I thank you all. It all has made me a stronger person and who I am today.
Three, I have two sweet fur babies that I am mom to and I felt the need to post some pictures of them. They always brighten my day (even when they make me want to pull my hair out) and I couldn't image a day without them.
