The ultrasound was so amazing. Little G was moving all over the place and hearing the heartbeat was just beyond crazy. The baby wouldn't lay like the ultrasound tech wanted for the pic. She called baby G stubborn. I wonder where it gets it? I was 12 weeks at this ultrasound. After the ultrasound, Pat and I felt like it was time to tell our parents. I was so nervous and don't ask me why. We decided to send them grandparent Valentine's cards with a copy of the ultrasound to announce the news. I was so relieved to have the news out!

1st Ultrasound & Telling Our Parents
I found out I was pregnant shortly after Christmas was over and done with. We were visiting our family in Arkansas and chose to wait till I was further along and had seen a doctor before I told anyone. I was very excited but still in disbelief. We were trying but I was so surprised that it actually happened. We came home to Alabama from our visit and being pregnant started to sink in, especially around 8 weeks. I was nauseated and not feeling 100%. That soon passed and I had my first doctors visit. I wasn't crazy about that doctors office so I switched to another that a friend recommended. So at my second doctor's visit with my new doctor, I also had my first ultrasound.
