30 Weeks

How far along: \\30 weeks// We had a routine check up this week, very simple and the usual- blood pressure, baby's heartbeat, and they measured my stomach. It's measuring at 30 inches now and where I'm suppose to be. It blows my mind how fast things are happening. Reese is growing quick and before we know it she will be here. Can't wait to meet her... 10 weeks to go!

Movement:  Can I just say holy cow! Reese is allllll over the place and kicking hard. It's to the point were I can feel her at anytime of the day.  Even when she isn't moving, I can move a certain way or just put my hand on my stomach and feel her.  It is the most amazing thing.  I wish everyone could experience it, even guys.

How I'm Feeling:  I have to say I have had a really smooth pregancy so far and have had no complaints other than being tired and not feeling my self in the beginning.  Since I have hit the 3rd trimester, I have felt that tiredness come creeping back.  Also, with my growing baby and belly, I have had back pain. This is mostly only after a day of work or if I'm sitting or standing too long.  The newest addition to my woes is acid reflux, but even that has been mild.  Tums do the trick if it sparks up.  I am hopeful the next 10 weeks will be as easy going as my last 30.

29 Weeks

Baby Reese is growing, growing! I have put on almost 15 pounds now and have 11 more weeks to go.  I am for sure starting to feel the effects of my stomach being bigger and I can not imagine what the next 11 weeks will bring with a bigger belly.  Other than my back hurting every now and then, I am really loving my baby bump though.  The bigger Reese gets, the bigger the moves, rolls, and kicks get.  It is such an amazing thing.

Jersey Louise

This post isn't easy.  Our baby Jerz became sick and is no longer with us.  She lived a very full and happy puppy life and touched the hearts of everyone she met.  She will be missed so very much.

The Name Game

Well, we officially and finally decided on a name...

Reese Ryan Gunn

Reese was a name both Pat and I liked before I was even pregnant.  Ryan is Pat's middle name and we liked how it flowed together.  I love it and I think it fits perfect for our little one.

28 Weeks

How far along: 28 weeks, 3rd and final trimester

This week I had a routine doctors appointment to do my glucose testing and to have an ultrasound done to check on my placenta.  My glucose test came back normal so I am all good there and my placenta grew up with my uterus so that all worked out too!  The best part of our appointment was getting to see our baby girl again.

The first three pictures are 4D resolution which is so crazy.  Seeing her little features on her face is just amazing.  She weighed 2lbs and 4 oz here and my stomach measured 27 inches from top to bottom.  She was also head down with her bottom next to my right side and her feet on my left side.

Pat and I think she looked a lot like Pat in the ultrasound.  It is still hard to tell but here are some infant pictures of us.  Pat is on the left and I am on the right. The picture of me was my newborn photo from the hospital.
